Currently the UK's Best Known Beauty Expert, Gina has been involved
in the beauty industry for over 16 years working her way up from Hairdressing Assistant to where she is
now.
Gina has recently opened her second salon in one of the South West's top shopping centres. Gina is an experienced
and qualified Make-up Artist and the Resident Beauty & Make-Up Expert and a Columnist for the national consumer
magazine Hair, Style & Beauty. She does all the make-up for Hair, Style & Beauty
including the front covers and main feature shoots. Gina has worked with numerous other publications
including front covers and feature shoots for Digital Camera magazine, PC Format magazine, Online
Gambler magazine, The Daily Mail, Professional Nails magazine and features for Playstation
2 magazine. Gina has worked with many top hair stylists including Desmond Murray, Errol Douglas, Paul Merrit,
Adee Phelan, Phil Smith, Paul Falltrick, Nick Malenko, Barrie Stephen and many more.
Gina has worked with the Discovery
Health Channel, having had one of her TV show ideas commissioned by them. Gina has appeared on Granada
TV's This Morning, Channel 4's Celebrity 4 Go Dating, Bravo's Fashnu's Football Challenge for 6 months
appeared daily on national TV in the Channel 4 show The Salon.
Since then Gina has maintained
and developed her national profile with guest presenting appearances on Price Drop TV and the ntl
Channel and is now a regular TV Presenter for Beauty on OK! Magazine's Shopping TV Show,
she also writes several regular columns including Hair, Style & Beauty magazine, Scratch magazine and articles
in Sunday News of the World magazine, numerous radio spots and being the "Official Expert Consultant to The British
Beauty Show".
Gina has experience in many areas including TV, Radio Presenting, Corporate Presenting,
Reporting, Voice-Over, Modelling, Editorial Writing and Consultancy on beauty, nails, hair, image, lifestyle, holistic
and complementary therapies, and snowboarding.
Gina is considered an expert in the fields of Beauty,
Holistic Therapy, Make-Up and Nails.
Gina has her own nationally acclaimed 5 Star salon 'aqua-G' in Wiltshire, she is the resident Beauty,
Image & Lifestyle Guru for BBC Radio Swindon & WIltshire and Swindon FM radio.
She is a fully
qualified Further and Adult Education Lecturer. Gina has been an expert consultant to "So Graham Norton" (So
TV), "The Salon Series One" (Endemol UK), Men in Frocks (Sky One), LBC Radio, Richochet South and Tiger Aspect Productions.
Gina is the winner of the "Professional Nails National Nail Competition 2002". Her nail art work has
been displayed in many competitions and her beauty images have appeared in various magazines. Her work has
also been mentioned in "Hello magazine".
Gina is a fully qualified Beauty Therapist, Holistic Therapist, Make-Up Artist,
Aromatherapist, Nail Technician, Hair Extensions Technician, Airbrush Beauty Specialist, Body Artist, Nail Artist, and Further
Education lecturer. She is also a Business and Management Graduate from Oxford Brookes University and
holds the equivalent of 5 degrees and 10 A'Levels.
Gina was the first person ever to be awarded Continuing Professional Development
(CPD) Certification in Beauty Therapy from BABTAC and in Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing from HABIA.
